So, if I was taking Zetia, I would be asking my doctor "how do we know its working?" If there is not a good answer... I'd ask: "What would happen if I went off and just took 1 cholesteroll lowering medication.(I assume you are on 2 meds for your cholesterol.)
TJR: The efficacy of Zetia had a big set back this week when a major published study in the New England Journal of Medicine said it worked no better than Niaspan (niacin). So, experts (who don't work for the manufacturer) are scratching their heads saying "Does it work at all."
I'm currently taking zetia,my doctor says keep taking it. Just want to know your thoughts on this?

Good Question...thats a good question. The vaccine is trickling in and there are about 150-220 million americans who want to/need to get the vaccine. Its possible that the supply will become avaiable AFTER the pandemic is over (or on the decline)

get dependent on it and get "Rebound congestion." I use it occasionally, but I only use it once a day--usually at night so I am not sutffed up when I sleep. THen I just deal with the congestion during daytime hours.

Ty, the first thing to do is to try conservative (non-surgical) treatments such as physical therapy, anti-inflammatories, etc. But, in some cases, surger is required to relieve the compression on the nerves which is what causes the pain.
